Emily Grimston
I am a multimedia artist working at the intersection of mythology, sculpture and storytelling. My current focus is on creating hand-sculpted clay figures - often goddesses and feminine archetypes - that I embed into intricate mosaics. Each piece becomes a kind of shrine, where story, texture and spirit converge.
I hold a BA from Elam School of Fine Arts, and I have 5 years of experience as a graphic designer. While neither path gave me a clear vision of my voice as an artist, both helped sharpen my eye for composition, symbolism and visual narrative - tools I now bring into my own sacred intuitive work.
Living with ADHD and Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria, I create from a deeply sensitive place. My art is a form of recamation and healing, grounded in feminine power, neurodivergent experience, and myth. I also illustrate with Procreate, developing children's book characters and stories that honor imagination, empathy, and magic.
Whether in a book, across a mural, or woven into a mosaic, my mission is to tell stories that connect us to ancient wisdom, celebrate inner complexity and inspire wonder.
